I kind of agree with you on removing all the politicians. Not so much on your crazed caricature of Trump that comes straight from the propaganda arm of the deep state. Ever stop to think why so many people voted for Trump and are going to vote for him again? It's exactly because they see the same corrupt system as you do, and want to get rid of it just as badly as you do.

Turning to Trump, one of the most corrupt and unappologetically self-centered politicians I've run across in my half-century journalism career (which has included reporting on and meeting countless corrupt, self-serving and self-centered politicians!) in hopes of fixing a corrupt system sounds like turning to an open sewer for sustenance because you don't want to eat the pesticide ad herbicide contaminated and over processed foods on offer in the supermarket, or like hiring a convicted drug dealer and bank robber to handle security of your savings and protecting your kids while you're away on a job.

The problem with the analogy is that picking a President is a forced binary choice, unlike those other scenarios.

That is irrelevant to the issue of whether Trump could be relied on to do anything that would actually be for the benefit of average Americans. He is demonstrably a person only out for himself, a person with effectively no scientific knowledge or willing to act as if he has no scientific knowledge (remember him standing and staring at the total eclipse and pointing up at it? What a effing idiot!) He liked science when he nearly died of Covid, but then left to ride around in his limo to wave at his supporters outside the hospital, infecting his driver and retinue of Security people riding with him, before going back to the Army hospital for continued treatment). The guy is a whack job and because he's a hyper narcissist he is a menace in the role of president.

And I say that not because I'm painting a "crazed charicature" taken from "propaganda of the deep state" my friend, but because I spent over 12 years as living and working in New York City watching and reporting on Trump, with his mob connections, his incredible vicious racism as a landlord, and his corruption. My opinions are my own and are well-based.

Hey nobody is saying he's a good guy.

Except for the tens of millions in his cult following, who seem to think that none of the Bullshit stuff he does, from suggesting injecting bleach to combat Covid infection or urging cops to shoot shoplifters or bank the heads of suspects on their car doorframes when shoving them in, or saying he wants to suspend the constitution during his first day in office if returned to the White House are wonderful ideas...
